FRIDAY 31st MAY.
THE HAINING SELKIRK TD7 5LR
We’re going for a donder round the Haining Loch….
Meet up at the Old Ginger statue in the Dairy Yard at 3.30pm.
We’ll set off about 3.45pm in an anti-clockwise direction (in case you are late and want to catch up or meet us coming round!)
SATURDAY 1st JUNE.
DANDIE DERBY AT BOWHILL HOUSE SELKIRK, TD7 5ET.
Arrive from 11.00am
(the grounds will be open from 10am if you want to arrive sooner)
Races start at 11.30am
Lunches will start from 12.00 and may be staggered, tbc nearer the time.
The final winners’ race will be around 3.30pm -ish!
The race track will be on the grassy terraces at the front of the house.
Please bring a raffle prize if you can and give it to Cheryl Agnew, she’ll be by the race track. The raffle will be drawn after lunch. Prizes include Selkirk Bannock Gin and Three Hills Old Ginger coffee.
Scotch Tweed and Frog Art Glass will be in the pop up stall by the race track, we will be selling pewter dandie brooches and locally made tablet.
Bowhill is a private estate and Dandie Derby visitors are being given reduced entry:
£5 without lunch, £12 including a special Dandie Derby lunch.
Lunch will be available at the Old Kitchen Café – this consists of soup, sandwich, traybake and a drink.
We need pre bookings for lunch so please let us know ASAP if you are taking up this option, see payment info below.
nb Bowhill House is closed for maintenance, the grounds, playground, Victorian kitchen and café are all open. The recently opened ‘Old Pepper Trail’ is available to be walked before or after the races.

Scamper Puppy Race – Age up to 1 yr old
Pewtermill Scurry Novice Race – Age 1-3 years old
Selkirk Bannock Gin Adult Race – Age 4-6 yrs old
Old Ginger Three Hills Coffee Veteran race – Age 6+
There is a £5 race entry fee per family irrespective of the number of dogs racing, all the money raised will be donated to the Haining Charitable Trust. You can either pay Eve Thomas when you send payment for food, or £5 can be paid on the day.

Arrive 6.30pm for 7pm start.
The bar will be open, cash and card payments accepted.

11.45am – A gentle walk to the nearby Temple of the Muses statue and over the Dryburgh pedestrian suspension bridge.
1pm Lunch.
