An enjoyable walk through Dandie Dinmont Forest and to cap it off a photo oppertunity at Hindlee Farm and thanks very much for the owners inviting us in to the farm. Hindlee Farm was the home of Mr Dandie Dinmont, James Davidson. James Davidson is credited as the originator of the modern breed of Dandie Dinmont Terriers and it was he who inspired Sir Walter Scott to create the character Dandie Dinmont in his novel Guy Mannering.
