2nd and 3rd of June 2018

Another Dandie Derby has flow past over 70 Dandies entered into the races, a typical Scottish Summers day a bit dreic, however hopefully everyone enjoyed the day?
It was nice to see lots of new Dandies and their owners, joining in the fun.
The winner of “Old Ginger Gin” was Margret Russell.
£750 and twenty centimes was raised to The Haining Chartiable trust.
A special thanks to Barabara Krug for the donation of The Dandie Dinmont Fuscias and The Dandie Dinmont Terrier Club and the Southern Dandie Dinmont Terrier Club, for their proceeds from selling the fuscias.

In the morning we had a stall at Selkirk’s Farmer Market and we got lots of attention there and gave out information on Dandies.

On Sunday we were at Town and Kirk Yetholm and there was a talk on the Gypsy Kings and Queens and Piper Allan and also some off his tunes. We also learned why they were called “Muggers” the meaning of the word has changed through the centuries.
Then it was off on our walking tour of Town and Kirk Yetholm which was very informative.
